In the third quarter of 2025, the top shooter games in the United States showcased notable trends across downloads, revenue, and active users on a unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower highlights these performances in detail.

Free Fire x NARUTO SHIPPUDEN experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at about $8.8M at the start of July before a gradual decline to around $4M by the end of September. Downloads initially increased, reaching 144K in late July, and then declined to around 83K by the end of the quarter. Active users started at 1.7M, peaked at 1.8M mid-July, and decreased to approximately 1.4M by late September.

Call of Duty®: Mobile saw its weekly revenue drop from $5.1M to $3.5M over the quarter. Downloads remained relatively stable, starting at 150K and ending at 112K. Active users showed a downward trend, beginning at 2.9M and decreasing to 2M.

PUBG MOBILE had a varied revenue trend, with a notable peak in early July at $2.9M, before falling to $1.6M by the end of September. Downloads decreased from 110K to 61K, and active users showed a decline from 1.3M to 1.1M.

Destiny: Rising, a new entrant, started strong with revenue reaching $2.6M in early September but fell sharply to $551K by month-end. Downloads plummeted from 716K to 40K, and active users decreased from 524K to 51K over the same period.

Fortnite showed a steady revenue increase, ending the quarter at $802K. Downloads initially decreased from 575K to 174K, but saw a resurgence to 286K at the end of September. Active users remained strong, starting at 5.3M and ending at 4M.

These insights from Sensor Tower reveal the dynamic nature of the shooter games market in the US, with each title exhibiting unique trends in key performance metrics.
